It can be difficult to write your own story, or write about someone you love. Maybe you don’t know how to start or you want to make your book super personal but you don’t know how. On this page, you can find our tips & tricks.

Having a hard time getting started? Begin with the easier questions. Also, think about your answers but not for too long; your first feeling usually is the best!

A pictures is worth more than a thousand words… Make your book especially personal by using pictures, postcards, newspaper articles etc. P.S. it can also be a great way to ‘cover up’ any questions that you may not have the answers to!

If you don’t know the answer to a question, it might be fun and helpful to call someone. This way, you can get the answer to your question and have a great time reminiscing.

P.S. don’t forget to write down why & when a picture was taken!

Don’t worry about minor things such as your handwriting or misspellings. At the end, it’s about the stories you write.

It’s YOUR book. How long you write and when you write, is all up to you! You are the storyteller and therefore get to decide whether you do or do not answer a questions and how long your answers are.

You are giving your time to create the biggest gift you can give someone: a treasure full of memories and stories. So don’t doubt yourself & start writing!
